Hidden deep in the Enchanted Forest was a magical mirror.

It was called the Mirror of Maybe.

The mirror could show you anything you wished to become.

One morning, Una the Unicorn discovered it beneath a sparkling willow tree.

“How beautiful!” she whispered.

She stepped closer.

The mirror shimmered.

*WHOOSH!*

Suddenly, Una saw herself with enormous golden wings.

“Wow!” she gasped. “I could fly like a butterfly!”

The mirror shimmered again.

Now she had a magnificent crown.

“I could be a queen!”

Another shimmer.

Now her mane was made of diamonds.

“Ooooh! Everyone would notice me!”

Una spent the entire morning imagining all the amazing things she could become.

But something strange happened.

The more she looked at the mirror, the less she liked the unicorn standing in front of it.

“My mane isn’t sparkly enough,” she whispered.

“My horn isn’t big enough.”

“Maybe I’m not special enough.”

Just then, Amara appeared.

“Una! I’ve been looking everywhere for you!”

Una sighed.

“I wish I could be someone extraordinary.”

Amara looked confused.

“But you already are!”

Una shook her head.

“Look at all the things I could be!”

Amara stepped beside her.

The mirror shimmered again.

This time, it showed something different.

It showed Una helping a frightened bunny find its family.

It showed Una cheering for Plucky.

It showed Una making Tenderly laugh.

And it showed Una being a wonderful friend.

Una stared.

“That’s… me?”

Amara nodded.

“That’s the Una we love.”

The mirror began to glow brighter than ever before.

And suddenly, Una understood.

She didn’t need bigger wings.

Or a golden crown.

Or a diamond mane.

Her kindness, imagination, and colorful personality already made her special.

Una smiled at her reflection.

“There’s magic in being YOU!”

And for the first time that morning, she saw exactly what Amara had seen all along.

Someone extraordinary.

Una’s lesson: You don’t have to become someone else to be special. The wonderful things that make you YOU are already worth celebrating.
