Truly the Elephant had a very special talent.

She remembered EVERYTHING!

Birthdays.

Favorite snacks.

Even where Amara had hidden her missing purple sock.

But one day, Truly learned that remembering wasn’t the only important part of friendship.

It began when her best friend, a little rabbit named Pip, invited her to the Moonlight Picnic.

“Promise you’ll come?” Pip asked.

“Elephant promise!” Truly said, wrapping her trunk around Pip’s paw.

That afternoon, Truly received another invitation.

The Forest Explorers were going on a secret treasure hunt!

There would be maps, mystery clues, and maybe even a golden treasure chest.

Truly’s eyes widened.

“A treasure hunt?!”

She was so excited that she almost forgot her promise.

Almost.

When she arrived at the meeting place, she saw Pip sitting alone beside a picnic blanket.

His ears drooped.

“Truly!” he said. “I thought you weren’t coming.”

Truly looked toward the treasure hunters.

Then back at Pip.

She really wanted to go.

But she had made a promise.

“I told you I’d be here,” Truly said. “And I meant it.”

She sat beside her friend.

Together, they shared berry sandwiches and watched glowing butterflies dance through the evening air.

Then Pip pulled something from his picnic basket.

A tiny golden box.

“What’s that?” Truly asked.

“Your treasure,” Pip replied.

Inside was a beautiful friendship bracelet with two little hearts.

“I made it for you,” he said.

Truly’s eyes filled with happy tears.

She hugged Pip with her trunk.

“I almost missed the best treasure of all.”

That night, Truly learned something she would never forget.

**Being a loyal friend means keeping your promises, telling the truth, and showing up when it matters.**

Truly’s lesson: Friendship grows stronger when we are trustworthy and dependable.
