Finn the Sea Lion loved bubbles.
Big bubbles.
Little bubbles.
Bubbles that floated.
And bubbles that POPPED!
One morning, Finn discovered a mysterious bottle on the beach.
The label read:
**SUPER-DUPER BUBBLE SOAP!**
“OOOH!” Finn exclaimed. “This is going to be amazing!”
He squeezed a tiny drop onto his flippers.
*POP! POP! POP!*
Beautiful bubbles filled the air.
Finn giggled.
Then he squeezed a little more.
*POP! POP! POP!*
Then a LOT more!
Suddenly, bubbles began pouring everywhere!
They covered the sand.
They covered the rocks.
They even covered Finn!
“WHOA!” he shouted.
He slipped.
He slid.
He spun in a giant bubbly circle.
“HEEEELP!”
Amara rushed over.
“Finn! What happened?”
“I wanted to get extra clean!” Finn cried. “But I think I used too much soap!”
Amara laughed gently.
“Being clean doesn’t mean using the most soap. It means knowing how to clean up properly.”
Together, they carefully rinsed the extra soap away and cleaned up the beach.
Finn washed his flippers with a small amount of soap and water, scrubbing between them while Amara counted to twenty.
Then he rinsed and dried them.
“Hey!” Finn exclaimed. “That was easy!”
Amara smiled.
“Good habits don’t have to be complicated.”
Finn looked at the clean beach.
Then at his clean flippers.
Then at the tiny bottle of soap.
“Next time,” he said, “I’m using just enough!”
And with one last tiny bubble…
*POP!*
Finn gave his biggest grin.
“CLEAN FINS, BIG GRINS!”
Finn’s lesson: Staying clean means using good habits, not making the biggest bubbles or using the most soap.
